Hello there fella’s, I hope that I find you well.
Firstly, I have to say that I have been following the developments of Tink Effects for quite some time now, and WOW!! These effects are the DOGS BOLLOCKS, awesome and so easy to implement.
I was wondering if you have a billboard effect in the pipeline, as I have come across a billboard effect written for flash player 10 but don’t reallt understand the classes yet.
I have tried to recreate the billboard effect using the tink flipInstance but cannot seem to have nested planes within the Flip.
I would really love a billboard effect from you guys as I am sure other people will to.
Please do it for us loyal followers..
Keep up the excellent work lads
cheers
Al

Hi AL
Can you point me to the effect you like to replicate and also specify whether you want a Flash Player 10 version, or whether you want Papervision3D and Flash Player 9.
Also are you after a ViewStackEffect, or just a single effect.
Can’t make any promises on timing, but it should be too diff.

Hi Tink
Go this this link and have a look at the effect and then you will see what the billboard effect is about
go here please,
blog.onebyonedesign.com/?p=88
The Effect is so cool, horizontal and vertical
I would like to use the billboard effect in a viewstack if possible, and papervison3d with fp9 would be okay. I was thinking about chaning something in the FlipInstance.as that you have already made by just adding some more planes, but got confused on how to do this.
Let me know what you think or just tell me what to add to the current effects that you have already.
eagarly awaiting online for your guidance

Hey Tink
I dropped you the link yesterday to the effect.
Let me know if you require anything else and I will be of assistance
Cheers

Yep i got the link.
I need to create a TilePapervision3DEffect and then a FlipTilePapervision3D. This would then allow you to have columns or rows or both.
Don’t think I’ll get it done this week though.

Hey Tink, how does it go?
Just wondering if you have had time to look at the rotating billboard effect that we spoke about earlier?
Awaiting your response when you have time
Thanks mate
